"We the undersigned support the campaign and action to invite English Heritage to consider the listing of the Cadbury factory at Somerdale Keynsham and or the chimney stack and power house. We believe that the factory and power house together with the chimney stack are an integral part of Keynsham's industrial history and heritage and are a direct link to the early years of chocolate making in Bristol and the original Fry family. Further that the factory, power house and chimney stack are part of the townscape that links the town into the rural setting of the Avon Valley. In so doing it forms part of the overall landscape that would be disfigured by houses in the event of the factory being lost to demolition."
